What you bring to the conversation

AGS Rome 2026 Welcome Kit · three numbers, the product, one question

Picture the meeting, because it's shorter than you think. A network's head of advertisers, a table in the hall, your product between you. She asks three questions. You answer them without looking at your phone. She picks the product up, turns it over, asks what it costs you landed, and says "send me the page." That's the whole first conversation, and everything after it, terms, refunds, category fit, is follow-up.

This page is those ten minutes, prepared, so you walk in with the numbers instead of reconstructing them from memory in a queue.

The three numbers

Write them. Say them out loud once.

Your numberWhy they ask
Average order valueWhat a sale is worth to a partner before they know anything else.
Margin after cost of goods and fulfilment% or € per orderThe number that decides whether a commission fits. Both sides need to know what a sale can pay.
Cold-traffic conversion rate%Honestly. A partner buying traffic needs to know what their click turns into.

And the fourth they'll ask next: refund and chargeback rate. Have it.

"Margin after cost of goods and fulfilment" means what's left of an order after product cost, pick-pack-ship, processing, and any per-order cost you'd still carry if someone else brought the customer. Not after your own ad spend, because in this arrangement the partner is paying for the promotion. If a commission fits inside that margin with something left for you, you've found a growth conversation where your money doesn't leave first. If it doesn't, you've learned it in ten minutes instead of another quarter of testing.

The product-presentation checklist

What a partner needs to see to decide whether they can sell it.

The one question

Every request needs one. Pick it before you send it.

What not to bring

The deck about the brand story. A partner isn't buying the story; they're buying whether their traffic converts and what it pays. The story comes up on its own once the numbers work, and it lands better then.
